Why I wrote Be Unstoppable – an Online Personal Empowerment Program for Women around the World

The Dalai Lama once said ‘the world will be saved by Women.’

And I believe that, but many are struggling.

I have coached, trained and counselled women for over 20 years and whilst many do well, the large percentage of women struggle in many ways.

In our relationships, in our careers, in our confident and with ourselves and in the face of gender inequality everywhere (against the backdrop of the MeToo movement) it’s no wonder.

Frankly, I am tired of watching women of all ages struggle.

With low confidence and self-esteem, being ignored in board rooms or other working environments, in relationships that do them no good (and at times kills them) in how they see themselves as being ‘lesser’ or ‘not worthy’ and even accepting less pay and justifying ill-treatment.

I have worked with women across various Continents in all situations – business, international leadership, homicide, incest, suicide, domestic violence, relationship breakdown, refuges and shelters and familicide, as examples.

The final turning point for me to do more was a familicide situation, where a man killed his children and then himself and left his wife to suffer for the rest of her life with pain and regret.  And I believe it could all have been avoided.

I thought deeply about the Be Unstoppable Program for a long time.  What it should include, the topics that would most help women everywhere and how to make it accessible wherever they are.

It has taken a year to write, design and now launch.  I owe deep gratitude to my team and Christine Randell, a gifted online education consultant who tirelessly spent almost a year converting the Retreat Program into the fantastic online resource it is today.
